Anchorage Police hope the public can help them find a man who's wanted for allegedly assaulting two family members
The owner of an Anchorage marijuana cultivation facility is pointing his finger at the city after his business was burglarized last month. Dane Wyrick, owner of Danish Gardens, says city planning regulations required him to disclose detailed floor and security plans. Wyrick says whoever stole $150,000 worth of pot from his building knew what they were doing
Anchorage Police are actively searching Anchorage's east side in connection with a bank robbery. APD received word that the First National Bank Muldoon had been robbed at 5:23. Officers are currently searching the area for the suspect.

A Juneau man was stabbed inside his own home Thursday evening, according to police. Juneau Police were called to a home in the 300 block of Fourth Street in downtown just before 7 p.m. Thursday on reports that 39-year-old Lucas Schneider was refusing to leave the residence of the complainant, a 44-year-old Juneau resident.

A collision involving an in-route ambulance and a privately owned vehicle leaves at least one dead and several others injured, along Knik-Goose Bay Road. The two-vehicle collision was reported at 1:50 p.m. Thursday, at Mile 5 of the road, according to Mat-Su Department of Emergency Services Director Otto Feather.

A 25-year-old man was arrested overnight Tuesday in a high-speed Wasilla chase, which Alaska State Troopers say ended after he crashed a stolen car. The chase which led to Anchorage resident Nicholas Thomas being taken into custody began just before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to an online dispatch, when troopers saw a vehicle “driving recklessly” through the parking lot of the Wasilla Walmart.

Alaska State Troopers have charged a Wasilla man in connection with a New Year's Day murder. Troopers and emergency medical personnel were called to a Big Lake residence on reports of CPR in progress on a 37-year-old woman.

Alaska State Troopers say an Anchorage woman arrested Monday morning in Soldotna sexually assaulted a young child in the early hours of New Year’s Day. Troopers said in an online dispatch that they were called at about 4:30 a.m. to a Soldotna residence where they arrested 54-year-old Laura Kroto.

According to a dispatch posted by the Alaska State Troopers, 49-year-old Shaun Williams, of Juneau was arrested Friday night for multiple charges following a high-speed chase with officers.
A Fairbanks man faces charges of first degree stalking after Alaska State Troopers received a report back in October. According to documents, Cory Ray Williams stole back a generator after he sold it, and proceeded to send threatening Facebook messages for months after the report was filed.
Two women are wanted by the Alaska State Troopers in connection with the murder of Anchorage resident, 36 year old Weston Gladney.
One man is dead after a confrontation with police at the 2000 block of Salmonberry Place. Late Wednesday night, the Anchorage Police Department received a report of gunshots fired in the area near Salmonberry Place. As APD officers responded to investigate, they were confronted by an armed male suspect. The suspect was shot by an officer and was declared dead at the scene. No officers were injured.

Three men have been charged in a rape case that left a woman hospitalized for weeks and requiring surgery. The incident occurred on July 20, 2016, according to the criminal complaint filed in Kotzebue court last Tuesday. Kotzebue Police were called to the Kotzebue Maniilaq Health Center to investigate a report of a sexual assault by a victim who arrived at the hospital claiming to have been sexually assaulted.
Anchorage Police have one man in custody in connection with a stolen vehicle case. Around 11:15 Sunday night, APD dispatch received a call from a man who reported he'd spotted his occupied stolen vehicle, a blue 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and confronted the suspects near the intersection of Oklahoma Street and Peck Avenue.
